The Brazilian Cochrane Center recommends the Evidence Based Health Care course for all kinds of health professionals including physicians, residents, post-graduate students and graduate students of all health areas. This course is offered through the Sirio Libanês Institute of Research and Education and is supported by the Brazilian Ministry of Health. This is the 10th edition of the course, it is free of charge and given at a distance through web streaming or video conferences.
Last September, a Cochrane Introductory Author Training Workshop was held for 49 Master of Physical Therapy students at the University of Manitoba. A follow-up session was recently held on 8 January 2015 to review analysis in Revman. The presenters were Dr. Ruth Barclay, Dr. Michael Moffatt, and Hal Loewen (medical librarian).
Registration is now open for a five-day training workshop that support teachers, policymakers, stakeholders and researchers in learning how to find and use research evidence in their work to reform, renew or strengthen health systems, and to get cost-effective programs, services and drugs to those who need them.
